| Purpose: The purpose of the college is to train Romanians to reach Romania for Christ
by equipping them to assist in successfully establishing independent Baptist
churches. Teaching will be from
the independent, fundamental, Baptist perspective of Biblical Christianity. The
primary objective will always be the training of God-called nationals. |
Located in Costei, near Lugoj, judetul Timis, 45 minutes east of Timisoara,
CBIR (Colegiul Baptist Independent din Romania) classes began in September 2002 with 12 students.
Phase I (1 st floor cafeteria and educational complex) has been completed.
Phase II (2 nd floor dorm area) was completed on January 27, 2003
