We have almost completed the second year of classes at Colegiul Baptist Independent din ROMANIA (CBIR). On May 31, 2003 we had the dedication service for the CBIR building. We had a wonderful first year. On September 2, 2003 classes began for the second school year. There was an increase in the number of students and we are excited about the potential of each student.

Dr. Carl Herbster, pastor of Tri City Baptist Church and president of CBIR was present for the dedication. Pastor Herbster has served faithfully as pastor for over 20 year. He also serves as President of the Missouri Association of Christian Schools (MACS). We have added three new faculty members. Dan Sehested, is a nine year missionary veteran in Romania who is a church planter. Tim Tyler, the latest addition to the CBIR faculty in beginning his first term as a missionary to Romania. Bro. Tyler pastored in the United States for over 15 year. Jennifer Hembree, is a seasoned musician and heads-up the CBIR music department. Please see the Course Materials for additional details.

If you are a missionary or pastor in Romania and need information about CBIR, please contact Ed Hembree at (072) 221-1436 or email him using the button below and send an email message to Brother Ed. The stateside contact is Ken Howerton at 816-795-8700 or email him at khowerton@tri-city.org.
